Unfortunately I have no more ideas(( So it's not a software problem. In DVD-box there is a reset-button but it just softly reboots the device. I don't know whether our devices support hard reset feature (formatting partitions), that could be constantly activated on yours (the only way to check is disconnect DVD I guess) or due to incorrect installation for example (but you said you did all according to instruction or the device is just defective... I don't remember if anyone here experienced the same troubles but if there were any maybe they can help...

I already tried the reset button (which works btw. ) and also tried using the device without the DVD unti cable connected.

Always te same result. All partitions empty after reboot.
I even replaced the CR2450 battery inside, but it looks like the battery is just for the RTC.

Ah, so there is a battery inside. We are just discussing this topic with another guy with reset of RoadRover clocks after each reboot. I thought about it, but battery should not affect permanent storages... Looks like you StaticStorage and Nand are protected from writing (like for Windows folder where you can copy any file but after reboot they disappear since they are buffered but not written since Windows folder in RoadRover is a kind of firmware). But it is impossible because StaticStorage and Nand flash should be permanent storages in RoadRover...

I can check today but I don't think it will help. Registry is also stored somewhere in permanent storages and each time it should be also formatted and restored from WinCE firmware as it is (but in 1.51 version as I said before original registry is OK and does not produce such problems).

To test remote function (volume and channels managing from the wheel), try to start video player or mp3 player on WinCE - it is necessary to make the source of sound from WinCE, not from standard car sound system. My Roadrover keeps the Data now. Looks like it was a problem with the battery.

I have the problem that the Radio Display does not work (Climate works) and the clock always is set to 0:14 (The clock in system settings is set correctly after GPS signal is found, but lost after power off of the car for a few minutes).

I'm on MCU 1.08 with CE 1.53 EN (also tested 1.40 and 1.51) and I tried all shells available here. All cables are connected.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be ?

d1dd1, in our device there are 2 clocks: first clock belongs to car standard audio system, which wasn't changed when you install RR device. Second clock belongs to device, and exactly that's clock syncronized when GPS established, and that's clock you may see in Win CE.
So you must be shure, that first clock was set properly too (see car's manual).

But before when it was constantly resetting after reboot did you see all this currently missing info? If yes - try to restore the same setup in terms of MCU-OS-Shell. On the other hand it seems that you RR sees the climate-control block but don't see car audio system at all - so could be a problem of connection - in RoadRoaver they are quite weak and tend to be pulled out from their nests.

Reseting of RoadRover clocks looks still like a battery problem...
